Seaside

Follow me into the water. I will be there at your call. I knew a love as I first saw here, now I could never let you fall.             So we lay there in wonder. Our backs to the ground, our eyes to the sky. As we lay we watch the time pass just like a blur, for you were mine, there was no how or why.

We went down by the seaside, to where I asked you to be my one and only girl. A night where we bought in the tide, as you joined this roller coaster ride, and you became my world.

Our summers love.

Those long summer nights, you had me pleading. As we'd dance under the stars. The touch of your lips, you had me conceding, but now it feels so afar.         So I close my eyes and remember. The autumn leaves begin to fall to the ground. All our hopes are now but a memory, cause I know our love and what we found...

When we,

When we went down by the seaside to where I asked you to be my one and only girl. A night where we bought in the tide, as you joined this roller coaster ride, and you became my world.

Our summers love.

Chase the sun

I've fallen for you so we'll wander underneath the river bed. Passing strangers vibrant lovers, why the wary in your stead?              The wheel of time is passing by us, we dance below our willow tree. Timeless love with ends unfailing you'll always have a piece of me.

Hold me close, please just love me so. I vow we'll be enough.      Come let's go and let’s chase the sun.

Myths of love we're always searching, eyes fixed on horizons far. Walk together on this journey, my home is wherever you are. Seasons change creating memories, church bells sing their cheerful song, effervescent smiles, a laughter and beauty that will always belong.

So hold me close, please just love me so. I vow we'll be enough. Come let's go and let’s chase...

Let’s chase the sun.

I've fallen for you so we'll wander underneath the riverbed. Passing strangers vibrant lovers, why the wary in your stead ?

Born to be

I know I've caused you harm, forgive me for the pain we've seen these days. You know I’d hope to find, a time we’d reconcile our different ways.

Three years have passed, we’ve learned to fear the company of our own.        A couple kids with different dreams, both afraid of the unknown.  It's finally time for me, to leave this love and reap just what I've sewn.       I will flee complacency, and I'll pursue this vacant, lonesome road.

I'll just keep on searching to find the life that I was meant to lead.           And I'll just keep on searching to find the man that I was born to be.

Consumed by a haze, the tide is set to come and grip my bones.           The truth will see its day, and I’ll embrace these mysterious shores.      It's a product of my brokenness, a parasite that will leave me left for dead.                      I hate to see you left exposed, but this chapter can finally been laid to rest.

I'll just keep in searching to find the path that I could never see.        I'll just keep on searching to find the piece you'll always have of me.      I'll just keep on searching to find the life that I was meant to lead.          I'll just keep on searching to find the man that I was born to be.

A CHILD'S EYES

Well come sit down and listen son, I’ll tell you a story of your world to come. You've heard the tale of Peter Pan and you've dreamed of living in this distant land. And I'd always have a piece of mind. When you’d come to me and look me with a child's eyes.

They ask you what you want to be but boy you still have so much world to see. Your living in a fantasy, condemned to a land that couldn't ever be. And as your mind wanders to the skies. Won’t you take care as you stumble from this pure time.

We've tried to shed a different light, but now we see it's not so black and white. I've tried to fix our love undone, allow me to learn this disposition. And as these demons are tearing at your mind. Please take my hand and I’ll walk with you, through your darkest night.

As the night consumes your soul, your home I’ll seek to find for now your innocence we'll mourn. And I could never see, you as you’d drown in your war, against this invisible disease.

Well come sit down and listen son, just look back and see how far you've come. Your story isn't written yet, so take this pen before you rest your head. And I always had a piece of mind, when you'd come to me and look me with a child's eyes,
Won’t you'd come to me and look me with, a child's eyes.

Throwing stones

Oh her tears looking to blame, I see them run down a window pane. As she sits, surrounded by the thorns that she has sewn.                She's adrift but there will come a day, she won't conform to all their ways. But now she lies alone in a mess that she has made her own

If we're dark by nature taught to nurture a hope is on my heart, well that one day you will see that you have to choose.                 All this time I'd wait for you those empty words you promised to, I see that you have used your time to prove, that we're all just throwing stones.

Well she's come so very far, reminded by the blood stains on her arms. These marks to her hone and let her know just how much she's grown.                                       But I know who she could be, the beauty and power for all to see. Just a queen without a throne nowhere no one to call her home.

And if we're dark by nature taught to nurture a hope is on my heart, well that one day you will see that you have to choose.                 All this time I'd wait for you those empty words you promised to, I see that you have used your time to prove, that we're all just throwing stones.

I'm finally getting older...

We make mistakes we're taught to take, the veil lifted to reveal the fake, on this journey as we learn to be.                              The innocent may throw the first, she prays to God she seen the worst.                                   She begs and pleads a cure for all to see, that there’ll be no more throwing stones...
